Dr Stephanie Girle

 

Dr Stephanie Girle is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) with nearly 30 years’ of experience working in the infertility field. Dr Girle was also at the inaugural opening of the first Repromed clinic in Darwin in 1994.

Dr Girle completed her medical degree at University of Queensland and moved from Cairns to Darwin in 1982 to work as a flying doctor. This encouraged the continued development of a broad range of rural/remote and tropical disease management and an opportunity to visit many parts of the Territory.

Dr Girle then spent 10 years gaining valuable clinical skills in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department of the Royal Darwin Hospital. Dr Girle recently received a lifetime achievement award for holding a Diploma of Royal Australian and NZ College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG) for over 35 years.

Dr Girle is a passionate women’s health advocate and is particularly interested in the provision of  infertility services in the Northern Territory.

Stephanie is part of Repromed’s professional clinical team and has experience in management of all areas of fertility including Ovulation Induction (OI), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF). She is also available for fertility assessments for individuals and couples and performs embryo transfers, oocyte retrievals, IUIs and surgical sperm retrievals.
