Dr Brydie Purbrick
Dr Brydie Purbrick is a compassionate and dedicated fertility specialist with a strong commitment to empowering patients to achieve their reproductive goals. She is passionate about delivering personalised, evidence-based care in a supportive and respectful environment.
Dr Purbrick holds a public appointment as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Royal Darwin Hospital, where she works closely with patients across pregnancy and birth. Her role within Darwin’s only public birthing service provides valuable continuity of care and a seamless transition for Repromed patients requiring obstetric services.
Dr Purbrick has a special interest in general gynaecology, sexual and reproductive health and minimally invasive surgery. She was awarded the AGES Advanced Hysteroscopic Surgery Fellowship and has particular expertise in advanced hysteroscopy and minimally invasive surgical management of endometriosis and endometrial pathology. She is committed to inclusive, culturally safe care and proudly supports the LGBTQIA+ community. Dr Purbrick is a member of the Gender Affirming Care Northern Territory network of practitioners and works to ensure that all individuals and couples feel respected, supported and understood throughout their fertility journey.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Purbrick enjoys teaching and mentoring registrars and doctors in training at the public hospital, contributing to the development of the next generation of medical professionals in the NT.
Having lived and worked in the Northern Territory for many years, Dr Purbrick is deeply committed to improving access to fertility services for First Nations peoples, as well as for low-income and remotely residing couples. She strives to provide culturally safe, equitable care and to help reduce barriers to treatment for patients across the region.
Outside of her professional life, Dr Purbrick enjoys keeping active and spending time with her family outdoors. She enjoys living and working in the Northern Territory and being a part of the greater community.
Dr Brydie Purbrick works under the clinical supervision of our Medical Director, Dr Juliette Koch.
