Dr Brydie Purbrick
Dr Purbrick completed her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide and during this time underwent rural placements in Uganda, Port Lincoln, Ceduna, APY Lands and Mount Gambier. Having a deep passion for women’s health, Dr Purbrick is now in her final year of training to become a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).
With a diverse background encompassing clinical teaching and tutoring roles in various locations throughout Australia and Bali, in 2011 Dr Purbrick played a key role, alongside a small team of medical students, in establishing a student placement program for rural and remote Indigenous communities in South Australia and the Northern Territory. This program’s notable success has led to its incorporation as an elective at the University of Adelaide Medical School and was where Dr Purbrick found her passion for women’s health.
With an unwavering commitment to patient-centered care, Dr Purbrick is devoted to delivering the highest level of care for her patients whilst providing an empowering and supporting environment. In addition to her work at Repromed, Dr Purbrick also holds a public appointment as a Senior Registrar at Royal Darwin Hospital and has a special interest in general gynaecology, sexual and reproductive health and minimally invasive surgery.
Outside of her professional life, Dr Purbrick enjoys keeping active and spending time with her family outdoors. She enjoys living and working in the Northern Territory and being a part of the greater community.
Dr Brydie Purbrick works under the clinical supervision of our Medical Director, Dr Juliette Koch.
This doctor has participated in LGBTIQ+ Diversity & Inclusion training and is committed to providing an affirming experience for their patients.
